We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mia Grace...
Over the years we have dealt with many children and families with cancer. But from the very first time we saw a picture of little Mia, it was like our hearts were drawn to her. She was diagnosed with DIPG, the same terminal cancer that took our sweet Moriah, and we knew we wanted to be a part of her life! We reached out to her mom, not knowing they too lived in Virginia, and that they would become a part of our family over the last year!
Last March, we hosted Mia and her family a Making Memories Celebration. Her #Hope4Mia Paw Patrol themed celebration was absolutely amazing. Mia and her friends enjoyed dancing the evening away, adopting pups, and getting amazing glitter tattoos applied. These are now memories we will hold dear to our hearts forever.
On January 9th 2019, Mia and her family life was forever changed when she was diagnosed with DIPG.
Mia reminded us so much of Moriah, they were both diagnosed at the age of 2, they both loved to dance, they both had the sweetest little curls, and a smile that could light up a whole room! Being connected to Mia and her family truly brought a special type of healing to our heart.
Wednesday, May 20th, sweet Mia passed away in her mother’s arms...
We rest in the fact that Mia is now pain free. We hope that Moriah met her at the gates, and now they are together doing what they do best...dancing with the Angels.
Please stand with us as we pray for her mother, big brother, family and friends at this time.
