The Newest Members of Our Forever Moriah Family
Imagine having cancer, but not being able to express some of the pain you’re feeling? That is how Devin feels. Devin is a seven-year-old “wild child” who loves to talk to anyone and everyone.

He is about in the middle on the autism spectrum. This makes it hard for him to express his feelings sometimes. He was recently diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a cancer that forms in soft tissue.
Gina, his mom, is really close with Sharday, our founder. The two met in middle school, and they always refer to each other as cousins. Ever since Gina found out about Devin’s diagnosis, “Sharday has been her outlet.”
One of the amazing things about the Forever Moriah Foundation is that it forms a network of sorts, and it allows mothers like Gina to be supported. Gina said that even when Sharday does not know exactly what Gina’s going through, she still has the stories of other Forever Moriah families to share.

We’re in the midst of making a family, now. This is exciting! God is with us all of the time, and sometimes He sends Himself to us through people. Let’s all be that channel for our friends going through difficult times, especially for our Forever Moriah friends. We ask that you take time to pray for Devin and Gina, that they would feel God’s love and support through us, and that God will put His healing hand over Devin.
