"Day's of Joy" 2019 Nationwide Campaign

In the Spring of 2019, the Forever Moriah Foundationwill launch its first nationwide hospital campaign. Forever Moriahwas founded in honor of their late daughter Moriah, who passed away at the age of four in 2013 from a rare form of cancer called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). Titling it the Days of Joy campaign, Forever Moriah founders Mario and Sharday Richardson plan to visit hospitals around the country spreading messages of hope and healing to families caring for their terminally-ill children.

The couple, with their two children Josiah (4) and Faith (2),  plan to travel to ten cities across the United States which include Philadelphia, PA, Dallas, TX, and Atlanta, GA. The mission and purpose of the Days of Joytour is to aid the families in creating beautiful memories with their terminally-ill loved ones.

“When Moriah was born, we made a vow to ensure that she had an opportunity to explore the world. We wanted her to experience things that we didn’t experience growing up,” said Mario.

“Our goal was to take her to all fifty states, but we were only able to take her to a few before she succumbed to her illness. Even though she’s not physically here, we decided that the Days of Joy campaign is a great way to still allow Moriah’s legacy to see all fifty states,” Sharday states.

The Forever Moriah Foundation will be accepting nominations for terminally and critically ill children to receive an extravagant personalized party for their family and friends to enjoy. One child from each city will be selected randomly for the custom party, but all of the nominees and their families will be invited to the "Remember Me Always" banquet.
