Christmas Family Bonding for Kids in the Hospital

Christmas is a few days away and the planning starts now! Is Christmas being spent in the hospital for your loved one? No worries! We’ve got you covered with ideas for the holidays!

First things first! Decorations! One of the best gifts that you can give a patient is creating a space where they forget that they are a patient! Garland and decorating a small tree for the room is ideal for Christmas Eve! Pre-baked cookie decorating for Santa is a Christmas Eve tradition that can’t be forgotten.

Playing Christmas music on low volume is also a great way to create less of a hospital feel.

Do a secret Santa within the family and allow your loved one to make a bracelet or a creative gift to give them the feel of Christmas shopping!

And last but not least, have a family FaceTime for all of the family that can’t visit due to quarantine!
